Rock strata — Coqeloa

Key Target 03

Coqeloa: Vertically Preserved Epithermal–Porphyry Target

← Vatu Aurum Project

Overview

System Type
Hybrid epithermal–porphyry system
Location
SPL 1511 (Coqeloa), the south-eastern of the three target areas on the project's total-magnetic-intensity image
Vatu Aurum Project — total magnetic intensity (TMI) image showing the Coqeloa target (3) in relation to the Aurum Prime (1) and Wainikoro (2) target areas, Vanua Levu, Fiji. (NR 21 July 2026, Figure 1)
Key Features
  • Cu–Mo–Au geochemistry
  • Magnetite-bearing veins and sericite–chlorite alteration
  • Interpreted as the upper epithermal level of a porphyry-related hydrothermal system
